EL BAGUL
Montserrat Rodó has been busy designing and making toys for some years now. She emphasises the original function of the toy as an item to play with and have fun.
A glance back in time to recover a little of the imagination of toys of yesteryear, made with simple, noble materials, which gave children the chance to express the full richness of their inner world, as an alternative to the toys of today. The materials she uses are basically wood and cloth.
In the El Bagul workshop and shop you will find puppets of all kinds, representing characters from traditional stories, puppet theatres and puppets of wood and cloth, or disguises to turn yourself into a princess or pirate. There are also trucks, aeroplanes, mobiles and shape sorters, as well as a range of spinning tops and traditional wooden toys.
